Welcome to A Garden of Galaxies

This is a rotating story garden where strange creatures, sensitive kids, and sacred machines bloom across time and space.

Most of what you’ll find here is written for Middle Years readers (ages 10–13), the grownups they become and the grownups who guide them.

If you’re new, the best place to begin is the 🌟 Start Here page, where you’ll find an overview of the universe, posting schedule, and how to follow along.

These stories explore emotional resonance, gentle surrealism, and joy, with just enough weirdness to make you lean in closer. Whether you’re a young reader with a vivid imagination or a parent, teacher, or librarian looking for thoughtful, offbeat stories: welcome.

Each “season” of the publication highlights a different story orbit—like The Stinkwater Escapee, Ghostcreek Hollow, or Emberwood Sparks, featuring serialized fiction, visual world-building, and bonus lore.

I'm H. Jacob Buller, and this is one of the spaces I tend.

Here, kids often perceive what adults cannot. And every post peers behind the curtain.

(Some say there’s a garden gremlin who shows up at weird moments, shouts faux paus, and utters nonsense. Don’t worry. He’s contained. Mostly.)
